Saturdays 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., January 23 – April 17, 2010 In this class, we will be exploring two different ways of working. One will explore text as image; pulling from art history the influence of the concrete poets, the Fluxus movement, and contemporary text artists. The second will explore pulling metaphors from poetry and literature itself to create visually and conceptually stimulating pieces of work.
